Exclusive Interview Locations
Senate Gallery Studios
Gallery members may book our Studios for exclusive interviews in one hour increments. Exclusive interviews may be booked in either studio but interviews in the large studio may be bumped to the small studio in the event of breaking news. Only current members of Congress may be interviewed in the Senate Studio.
Russell Rotunda
Exterior balcony positions in the Russell Rotunda may be booked through the Gallery by accredited organizations. Interior locations also are available without reservation on a first-come, first-served basis, except for high volume days such as State of the Union, when the Gallery must coordinate positions.
FREE PRESS AREAS
Free Press Areas can be used at any time by members of the Gallery for standups or interviews (see map). Tripods are to be set up only on grassy areas (except near the fountain).
Videotaping or filming with a tripod in any other area requires a tripod permit. Approval through the appropriate Gallery is needed.
